Matthew Gideon - Owner / Web and Graphic Designer
Born in Houston, raised in Conroe, transplanted to Doss and relocated to Austin, Texas.. For 10+ years I played guitar and and backing vocals for Austin based Christian Rock band SEVEN:THIRTYFOUR. During that time I decided to take a shot at designing our website, since funds were low and we couldn't afford to pay someone to design or website. The first website lacked much creativity, but I quickly revamped it numerous times, this began the adventure of web and graphic design. One thing led to another and my first non-band related request came from - Tally Wilgis, who when we first met, was a youth pastor in Corpus Christi. Somehow or another he came across one of web design and inquired about some work for a new church plant he was starting in Virginia. This led to many other clients located in the eastern part of the United states. I continued to work on web designs mainly through referrals, as well as various graphic design projects. Years later I established a DBA for MWG Media Works and the rest is history..
From time to time i have the honor of working on projects with several local web and graphic designers:
Eternalife Productions - Andrew Mabry
Mocha Media - Chris Walker
Sko Design Lab - Joel Skotak
Vessel Creations - Angi Gahler
In addition to web and graphic design, I am still passionate about the Christian music scene and currently continue to play guitar for our local church, as well as being asked from time to time to be a guest worship leader for churches such as Southwest Hills Community Church and Pflugerville Community Church. Sometimes you will even catch me out and about around town playing open mics with several of my closest friends..
I am also a family man - married to my lovely wife Angelica and father to the greatest little man a guy could have - Jacob. Part of our family also consists of our dog "Moo'pha-sa" and guinea pig "Soris" - making us one big happy family.
